UNIQSO's Mikasa Ackerman wig review

Here's another review on UNIQSO's wig!
I love their wigs so I enjoy doing these reviews. I'm a wig hoarder...!

This time I ordered their Mikasa's wig, which will take some styling to fit the character it will be used for.

Processing Time: 3 - 4 working days
Material: 100% heat resistant fibre
Wig Color: Black
Wig Length: 35cm

The wig came in with a wig cap, which is always useful. I tend to lose my wig caps all the time...
The quality of the fibers is very nice, but I'm not sure the wig is very their long wigs are. It has a lot of volume thanks to the styling, but the thickness on the back is very little.

Despite not being very thick, the wig has enough fibers, so you don't have to worry about your hair showin underneath.
The wig is not shiny, which is great. Darker wigs tend to be slightly shiny, so you can tell it's not real hair. This one seems to have a natural shine to it.

The wig is heat resistant, which makes it easy to straighten or to curl.

The top of the wig makes the parting quite difficult, but it works well for straight bangs!

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this wig! I'd love if they had it in different colors so I could use one for Shinji from Prince of Tennis!

UNIQSO's Rin Okumura wig review

I was really excited to post this review!
I picked a perfect wig for Akaya Kirihara and I was so excited to show you how it looks when styled!
Here's the wig I got:

Processing Time: 3 - 4 working days
Material: 100% heat resistant fibre
Wig Color: Black
Wig Length: 32cm

The wig looks exactly as on the photo, so I figured that I could do a review on this wig when it's styled. There are already a few review photos on the product's link.

I know that Uniqso has a wig that is meant to be for Akaya, but I still preferred to pick a shorter and less "wild" looking wig.

So, the wig is really nice and thick. There's no frizzy hair on the roots and the fibers are soft.
I've had bad luck with frizzy roots lately, so this wig was a nice change!

Since the wig is heat resistant, it was very easy to do this hairstyle. I didn't even have to cut it.
Although it looks messy and with a life of it's own (Akaya has a perm), the fibers are not damaged at all.
I used hair iron on 160ÂșC for this style and it really didn't mess up with the fibers (no melting, no frizzing). If I were to straigthen the wig, it would look as good as new!

I'd also like to point out that I did not use any product for this hairstyle. There wasn't even any need for the hairspray!
I'm actually really happy with how easy this wig as to style.

The wig is layered, which makes it much easier to trim if needed. I might give a little trim on the bangs and on the sides before I do an actual photoshoot.

The lenses I used here are the I-Codi Colors of The Wind Forest Green and you can read the review on them here.

I have also made a video tutorial on how I did my makeup here and in this video you can also see how the wig and lenses look.

Ruler Cosplay's Prussia wig review

I was hoping I'd get to post this review in the actual cosplay, but it seems that my costume won't arrive anytime soon thanks to the customs...

I decided to do the review anyway and kept the wig unstyled for the purpose of showing how it looks like out of the package.

The wig I got is Ruler Cosplay's Prussia wig, which is made out of mix of grey fibers. It looked really pretty and I thought it'd suit my Lev cosplay! You can get it here.

Material: Heat Resistant Fiber
Color: Silver
Length: 32 cm
Lead Time: 1-3 Days
Weight(kg): 0.2 kg

The store shipped the wig to me real quick and it got to my arms in no time! I was amazed with the speed. They were really kind and quick to reply to me. They even bothered to ask me if the wig arrived!
The package took less than a month to get to me and it didn't get into customs. The wig arrived in great condition.

Here's a closeup to the wig color. The color is a mix of dark grey and light grey fibers. It looks really pretty. I feel like the darker fibers make the wig color look more natural.

The top of the wig looks like this and I don't think you can use it for a lot of crazy hairstyles, however it's prefect in case you're looking for a straight hairstyle!

I have a feeling that the wig color will look much brighter on the photos than it actually is, so I might have to dye it for Lev, however, it's a Prussia's wig and I think it works well him in terms of color! The style might be a bit tricky, but if you know how to cut wigs, you have nothing to worry about.

The wig is heat resistant and it's pretty thick. Some fibers come out when I brush it and when I shake it, however that is normal with the new wigs. Unless it's shreading a lot, there's no problem!

This is how the back of the wig looks like. It's quite poofy. There are no "bald spots" since the wig is thick and it covers my hair really well. It does look a bit unnatural thanks to the too much thickness, but it's nothing I cannot work with!
It's better to have more hair than less~

Overall, I'm super satisfied with this wig! I cannot wait to style it and wear it for a photoshoot.
