Miccostumes' Yusuke Kitagawa Phantom Thief cosplay

Hey hey!

Here's a review on a costume I got from Miccostumes!

I've been dying to try their Persona 5 costumes and I am so pleased with what I got!

Please excuse the awkward positions and expressions. I'm not very good at this~.

So, the full costume looks like this.

It's made with pleather covered spandex, which makes it extra stretchy and comfortable.

The white pieces are made out of plush fabric/felt/fleece. I'd prefer if it were also stretchy spandex, but it looks okay in the photos.

The costume looks very pretty in photos. It's so slimming and it fits so well! I'm surprised as I usually get costumes that are either too big or too small for me when shopping online.

The buttons are made out of metal and the zipper is fully functional.

It's a little tricky to get into as it's tigth on the shoulders.

As you can see, the costume doesn't look baggy on me at all (maybe a bit on the back, but no biggie). I picked the smallest size and it's quite comfy! 

The tail hangs from the belt and the belt goes around the waist instead of the hips. I think the belt could be a little bigger, but I dont think it's  much of a problem as it helps make my figure look less curvy.

Here's a little closeup on the sleeves, that are a liiiiiittle too tight on my wrist. It's not bad, but it can get a little uncomfortable...

The belt is made out of an interesting fabric! It's a very thick braided cotton!

The tail is made out of fake fur and it's easy to brush into the shape you'd like. I didn't bother styling mine much, but it's very light and it has a wire on the inside, so it can be curved into any shape!

Well, so far the costume is great! There's one little detail that I dislike tho and it's the gloves and the boot covers.

The gloves are very big on me and don't look anything like Yusuke's gloves. 

The boot covers are just fabric and they are sheer, so they don't do much of a job covering anything.

I recommend buying these separately elsewhere for the accuracy!

Shipping: The costume was shipped to me by a very fast courier and was delivered within days of it's shipment. It didn't pass through the customs and it definitely didn't get extra charged! The store even labeled it as a very cheap halloween costume, so it helped a lot!

Communication: The store is very responsive and it might be one of the little stores online that keeps up with the new series and invests in good quality costumes (well... asides for the gloves and boot covers haha~)!

Overall quality: I think that the costume is great quality. I couldn't make something like this myself even if I tried! It's very warm and comfortable to wear in colder weather. Definitely recommend trying it out!

Miccostume's Kuroo Tetsurou cosplay review

I took ages to post this review, but my camera took broken photos and I had to calibrate the colors of each photo individually... 

It was a tough job, but next time I will use a different camera and hope for the best.

So, here's a review on the costume I got from Miccostumes! You can check the product here. It currently has free shipping and it costs only $19.99!

So, firstly, the costumes from Miccostumes tend to have a really nice quality and always correspond to the size chart. I've gotten quite some costumes from them over the years and I'm glad to bring you this review.

Kuroo's cosplay is made out of synthetic sports fabric. It's very light and fresh to wear. It has an accurate print of the stripes of his jersey and the number printing is real nice.

I got the biggest size, since I wanted it to be comfy, but it's actually a perfect size!

The shorts are real nice and short, so there's no need to worry about me needing to cut them.

When I cosplayed Hinata, I had to fold my shorts so they would look accurate... It was a pain.

Here's a closeup for you to see how clean the print is. 

I'd like you to know that this fabric is also possible to iron and it doesn't melt nor does it get stiff, but be careful to use low heat with it. This is synthetic fabric after all...

As you can see, the shorts are quite short. 

I think the costume is quite accurate, except for a tiny flaw: the shoulders don't have the two black stripes they need. I don't think this is a problem, considering the whole costume is well made and well printed. I can always add the stripes on the shoulders later on!

Above all, the costume is really comfortable and nice to wear in hot weather. I'm looking forward to wearing it soon and having a photoshoot in it. 

The costume was shipped to me real fast via EMS shipping. It didn't go to customs, which is a blessing considering my country is terrible with importing stuff outside of EU.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the costume I got and I highly recommend you to check Miccostumes in case you're looking for a cosplay costume or a character wig. They have a big variety of cosplays and are quick to reply to assist you!

Miccostumes' Howl's Moving Castle Cosplay Costume review

Hello! 

I have just received a costume I was eyeing for a long time and I'm so happy with it! 

Howl's a really beautiful character and I was so happy when the costume arrived to me - although I had to wait about a month for it to be made and a month for it to be delivered, it was totally worth it! 

You can find the costume here and the wig here. Together they cost 85.99$! If you would like to buy this costume alone and Sophie's dress, the price is only 108.99$!

The costume came in with: pants, jacket, shirt, necklace, wig and wig cap.

The pants are made out of polyester and are high waisted. They fit me well, however they are a centemeter too short - but that's alright! Miccostumes left about 3cm of seam allowance so I can make them longer! The pants close with a zipper and a snap button - the front two buttons are fake. If you are afraid the pants will open, you can replace the snap button by real on easily! Also, there's some seam allowance on the inside of pants, so you can make them larger if needed,

The jacket is made out of thin suede or peach skin type of fabric. It's very soft, however it can be tricky to iron, so I recommend you to be careful with it. The color is perfect and it's fully lined with red lining fabric. The sleeves have beige cuffs that are made out of sythetic fabric. The costume is also covered with metalic pleather bias tape. I always loved metalic pleather, so I'm very happy they used it on the jacket. It works real well! The only downside I can point here is that they were not very caraful about cutting the pleather on the inside and it can look a little uneaven, but you can cut it yourself, so no worries! 

NOTE: The jacket color is accurate to the website's product photo.

The shirt is my favourite piece of this costume. It's made out of chiffon fabric and I love it! It's very light and it feels very comfortable to wear. The shirt is quite baggy, which is perfect for howl. It's long enough and it's carefully sewn, so the fabric doesn't fray. The ruffles look adorable and the top part is lined, so no one can see your binder or bra or whatever you want to wear under the shirt! The shirt also has adorable little buttons that look like peals.

The necklace's stone is made out of glass. I was so scared it would get broken if I dropped it, but it turns out it's pretty resistant - try not dropping it tho! The chain is a regular metal chain and the stone is attached to it by thread... I'm not so sure this is safe, so make sure you replace the string for something stronger like a metal ring!

The wig is what surprised me the most on this cosplay! It's absolutely AMAZING. I was expecting it to be a cheap halloween wig, as the photo on website didn't show the wig very well and was scared I'd have to buy a new wig for Howl, but it turns out that this wig is extremely thick and it did not come styled. It came longer and I had to style it myself - which is great! I don't like pre styled wig as they might not cover my forehead well or might be too short/too long for me, so getting a wig I could style myself was great! I'm extremely happy with it.

The wig is also heat resistant, but only up to 160ºC, otherwise it might melt. The color is blonde, mixed with yellow and in the photos above you can see how the wig looks under different sorts of light. I took the photos during the cloudy weather, so the wig looked blond and golden, but once the sun showed out, the wig looked much more vibrant. I don't mind it tho, as I like how the color compliments my skin!

Here are some of the photos I took wearing this costume.

The costume is a perfect fit on me and I feel really beautiful in it. The pants really define my legs and make them look longer and slimmer. The shirt looks very elegant while tucked inside the pants. Both of these pieces hide my belly, making me appear thinner!

The jacket is quite big on me, but Howl's jacket is meant to be big, so it's excellent. It stays properly on my shoulders and it's wearable in case I get cold! 

I cropped my feet out of the photo because I will need to make the pants just 1cm or 2cm longer so they cover my shoes a little.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this costume. I love howl and I am really happy with how I look as him!

I feel like my self esteem boosts over 9000 when I see myself in this cosplay!

Miccostumes' Noiz cosplay costume and wig review

Second cosplay review on this blog and I gotta say, I couldn't wait to post this review! 

I don't usually wear pre made costumes, but this one was a costume I really couldn't figure out how to make on my own and I couldn't find the fabrics in right colors, so I just ordered this one from Miccostumes!

Miccostumes is an online store that sells affordable cosplay costumes, wigs, props and acessories, sometimes with free shipping. The store updates their stock and variety of items weekly, so you can expect it to have the latest series' costumes in stock! In case you cannot find the costume you're looking for, they accept comissions! 

Before I review the costume, I want you to know that I have previously looked at other stores and reviews to compare the quality and the price, so I can tell you if this is worth the purchase or not. 

Miccostumes uses their own product photos on their websites and they constantly share more photos on their social media pages, so you can be sure that what you're buying is the product on the photo and not something else. 

As I was choosing the costume, I was in contact with the store who helped me with my purchase and was very kind and patient, replying to my questions all the time! You have no idea how happy that made me. I love when stores are helpful and so kind to me. I'd definitely recommend you this store for the customer service only!

But customer service isn't enough to satisfy a customer, hence why I'm doing a review on this cosplay and tell you how satisfied I am with it.

The costume I ordered is this one. 

Which is meant to include the following items:

I don't think I have received the leg warmers, however I intended to use tights under this cosplay, so that's alright. I'm sure if I contacted the store about the leg warmers, they'd ship them right away!

Asides from the missing leg warmers, I have received all of the other items and they came in a pretty big package!

I was afraid the paper boxes would be smashed, but it seems the post services were gentle with this package. 

I apologize for the cropped feet, but I do not have the shoes yet, so you're getting a review with my feet cropped out. 

The costume I ordered is a female L. I'm usually an S or an M, but I had to order a bigger size because of my height. 

I was worried the costume would be too big on me and that it would need some resizing before wearing, but it actually is a perfect fit! Even the pants fit me perfectly!

I feel like the color is quite more vibrant than you'd see on Noiz, but the good thing is that they tried to make all the greens match well, so you'd not be wearing fifty shades of green. 

The only item that has the color a bit too off, is the hat. It's black instead of blue, tho you can see that in the product's photo, so I'm not complaining. I'm satisfied with what I got regardless!

The fabric used for this costume is polyester. The shirt is fully lined while the pants aren't. You get an under shirt that is also polyester. 

The hat is made out of wool and is lined with soft and warm white fabric.

Costume quality is very nice and it has functional pockets!

It's clear that someone with good sewing skills made this costume.

Despite not being a big fan of polyester, I feel like the fabric worked very well and that for the price you cannot expect it to be made out of cotton or some better fabric.

Please note that almost all costumes bought online are made entirely out of polyester fabric.

The costume comes with a belt that is made out of pleather. It fits me, but it's really on point. I hope the belt for bigger sizes is bigger as well.

The boxes are made out of cardboard/paper and they came in with hooks and beads. I got extra hooks and beads for them. The boxes came with no instructions on how to fold them, so it was a little tricky figuring it out, but once we did, they were built real quick.

I think the boxes are a little too sensitive to carry in a bag, so make sure you carry  them in a box or something, so they don't get smashed.

The costume came in with the pins and they look great! 

The prints are real nice and not pixelized.

They look real cute! 

The costume also came in with these amazing bracelets! I really love them! They are made out of pleather and attach with snap on buttons.

Also, I got their Noiz wig! 

I think that the wig needs some styling, but since it's covered with the hat, it's okay!

The color is a little bit too yellow, so I'm not sure if you're picky about it or not, but it works well for me! 

The wig is heat resistant and it doesn't have too much hair, since it's meant to be covered by the hat.

Overall:

I'm very satisfied with this cosplay and I think it does the price justice. For same price or more you can get this costume off another stores, who don't use their own photos, so you cannot expect the costume to look on the photos. Miccostumes makes sure to photograph their product and sell it for affordable price! 

I rate this costume 20/10.
